Noah participated in the Mesa Mayor's Youth Summer of Service this year. After an orientation, he put in hours at House of Refuge (where they organized donated food, clothing, and toiletries for homeless families), Helen's Hope Chest (where they sorted donated clothes and books for children in the foster care system), and the United Food Bank (where they sorted food and packed snack boxes for at-risk children in after-school programs). Noah had fun and was grateful to accumulate time toward his Service Learning hours.
