Cub Scouts enjoy three great years of day camp at the local Heard Pueblo. When we learned that our pack would not be attending this year, we decided that Jacob couldn't miss his Webelos year. He invited his friend Josh Heslop to go with him and spent three fun days experiencing "cub-boy" life.
They learned to rope cows,
panned for gold,
made catapults and pulleys in the Engineer badge class,
made their own neckerchief and leather slide,
had water balloon wars, swam in the pool, shot bb guns and arrows, ate too many slush puppies, stayed up late, and loved every minute of it!
