During Fall Break, we were so excited to go see the new traveling exhibit at the Science Museum. It was called "Real Pirates" and it was so interesting. National Geographic documented a find of a sunken pirate ship that still had its' treasure aboard. Fascinating! The only problem was there was no photography allowed. Bummer.
So, after going through the pirate exhibit we visited some old favorites. Isaac and Jacob competed in the wheelchair race.
This was actually cool (and new). Spencer and Noah put their hands on a sensor that transmitted their pulse rate to a bass drum. The drum beat out their heartbeat so they could hear it.
This is Isaac exiting a model of the lower intestine, complete with sound effects. Needless to say, this was very popular with the kids.
Noah completed the body parts puzzle. Pretty tricky (poor thing, mom couldn't even help; she had forgotten much of the anatomy she once knew).
Noah and Isaac laughed themselves sick at this funhouse mirror-type camera that distorted their faces.

Spencer and Jacob enjoyed making postcards on a computer screen and then sending them to a main screen to be viewed by everyone.
And I don't remember what this one is called but I always have a hard time peeling the boys away from it when it's time to leave. What a great day!
