See my poppies? I've never grown them before! My friend April gave me some seeds from hers last year and we just scattered them around and a few of them actually grew! So cute!
For Joy School, Sandee and Wendi and I took the kids to an Earth Day Celebration. They got to do lots of neat crafts and games but their favorite was feeding the tortoise.
Isaac was so proud of the picture he took of "the turtle's face!"
Everyone got to high-five the recycling bin mascot. Funny!
Isaac made this bagel bird-feeder and hung it in the backyard.The conversation we had in the car on the way to the Earth Day festival:
Isaac: "Where are we going?"
Me: "To an Earth Day party. Do you know what that is?"
Isaac: "Yes, Jesus created the Earth."
Me: "That's right! We are going to learn how to keep the Earth clean by not throwing trash on the ground."
Porter: "But if you put chocolate on the ground, that is OK with God. Just not the wrapper."
