Lego Castle Adventure

I love summer vacation! I love not having so many things scheduled and that we get to go do fun things together. Last Friday we decided to use our Science Museum membership before it expired and invited Aunt Emily and Cousins Calvin, Ethan and Austin to come along. Jacob and Calvin worked so hard on their plumbing skills, above, before we made our way upstairs to the new Lego exhibit.

Isaac and Ethan were wowed by this Lego knight at the entrance of the exhibit and Isaac wanted to "be that guy"!

So, the boys went inside and found out they could dress up like the castle occupants and sit (appropriately) on the King's throne. Only Spencer wanted to be a princess...

We lost Isaac, again, and found him just having fun all by himself with these castle mice.

This is why we go to Legoland. The boys can spend literally hours at the Lego building stations! This time they were designing their own castles. Don't they look awesome?

Noah created a version of Wall-e and then made this scepter for Spencer.

Calvin got to spend the night at our house that night. He and Jacob did a science experiment with celery and food coloring that turned out really cool! We love summer and our cousins! It will be fun to see our other cousins when we go to Utah next month.

  1. That Lego exhibit looks like so much fun! Glad that you have cousins close by to share the Summer with. We are anxiously waiting for our turn with the Arizona Kings. See you at the Lake!
