How many cities in Arizona actually celebrate St. Patrick's Day? We found out that Fountain Hills has a St. Patrick's Day festival and turns their city's fountain green to honor the day. Wendi and I took our kids and a picnic to see this anomaly at high noon. The kids were so excited to watch the fountain turn light green then dark green and back again! We enjoyed the picnic, the company, the impromptu football game, and the weather. Not many more days before it will be miserable to be outside like this.
