Jacob had been dying to see his Carr cousins, and after a couple of missed opportunities, we finally got together last Saturday. We decided to go to lunch and to a museum and so we met in Phoenix at the Old Spaghetti Factory.
The food took a while to come, so the cousins had lots of time to talk and laugh with each other. Jacob taught Calvin and Ethan how to stick spoons on their noses. Great restaurant entertainment!
It took longer than we thought at the restaurant, and then we discovered the museum closed earlier than we thought. The kids were disappointed that we didn't get to go.
So, we thought we'd try our luck at the Diamondbacks ballpark. We struck out again! The ball machine we went to see wasn't working because of all the rain we've had. We didn't have much luck that day, but the cousins still had a great time just being together.
