We had a little New Year's Day adventure after sleeping in from the late night before by going to Arizona Falls in Phoenix.

Arizona Falls has been a recreational gathering area for over 100 years!

The park celebrates Arizona's ancient and modern canal system and educates visitors on renewable energy resources.

The park was redesigned and reopened to the public several years ago but we had not yet taken the time to go see. It is just gorgeous!

Nana and Spencer.

Jeremy, Jacob, and me.

Jacob and Isaac had so much fun trying to jump from block to block.

The beautiful view from the top.

The ducks were fun to watch, too.

One last look before heading home.

It was a nice, relaxing afternoon for all of us except Isaac, who fell in the water and was freezing to death. We had to hurry home to get dry clothes and warm him up! Silly boy.
This looks like such a cool place. Add this to the list of places we need to go next time we come visit.
