Black Friday

Olivia graciously got up early with me to make it to the Black Friday sales beginning at 4am! We got some great deals at Kohl's, Target, and ShopKo and had a great time. I just love polite, cheerful Utah people! That afternoon we let the children vote on a movie for all of us to go to and ended up at "G-Force."
After the movie, we went a little way down the street to the Kaysville Tabernacle and viewed their Nativity displays. Gorgeous! I was in Creche Heaven.

Pretty quickly it became apparent that Isaac wanted to touch all of the breakable figurines so Jeremy whisked him off to the child-proof area. He was so proud of himself for putting this magnet manger scene together.

While we were there, a volunteer asked if Jacob wanted to be in the live Nativity. He said yes and they took him to get his costume on. When he came out on the stage, I was so proud of him.
He made such a good Joseph standing watch over the baby Jesus (he said that was because his middle name is Joseph). His "shift" was 30 minutes long and he only had to kneel down once because his legs were tired.

On the way home, we noticed people gathering for the Kaysville Light Parade but couldn't bear to think about having to be out in the cold, so we drove past where the lighted cars were lining up. That way we stayed nice and cozy warm in the van and still got to see the parade!
