One Friday evening, Jeremy received four amazing tickets to a Diamondbacks game. Noah had play practice, so Jeremy took Spencer, Spencer's friend Jake, and Jacob to the game. They sat right behind the dugout and had such a great time being SOOOO close to the action! Meanwhile, Isaac had picked up a flyer at the library about "Gilbert Gets Out," a weeklong event of free activities at venues throughout Gilbert. He had been begging me to take him all week and now we had our chance. We went to the Freestone Recreation Center and had a ball (literally). We got a raquetball court all to ourselves and played a few crazy games of wallball together.
And then Isaac had a turn on the massive rock wall.
He's so determined!
He got to the top several times.
And then was exhausted.
After all of that fun, we went outside for a free concert in the amphitheater. Nice and relaxing, with free Chick-fil-A, Jamba Juice, and popcorn. Great fun.
