Hello! I've been wanting to start a blog for a long time and I finally got some help from my sister-in-law Kelli last night. She is so cute to help me find a background I like since I am so computer-unsavvy. Anyway, she was here visiting us with her incredibly handsome new son Grant (I could die that I forgot to take a picture of him in his funky shirt!). We took them to the Arizona Museum for Youth (the AMY-I love this place!) and played around. One of the exhibits was called "Table Manners" and they had a neat sign hanging on the wall. I'm needing this in my kitchen:
Sit up straight at the table.
Always put your napkin in your lap.
You may eat when everyone has been served.
Please don't talk with your mouth full.
Lean toward your plate when taking a bite.
Eat small bites and swallow before taking another.
Always chew with your mouth closed.
Serve others before you serve yourself.
Excuse yourself before leaving the table.
So, yeah, no more excuses as to why my boys are animals at the table.
